Parties to the agreement
An agreement for the purchase of a gift card is entered into between you as the Customer and the Seller of the gift card
Gifty AS is authorized to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of the Seller and is thereby an agent and technical faciliator for the Seller. Gifty AS is not a party to the agreement between Customer and Seller.
All rights and obligations under the agreement are exclusively between the Customer and the Seller. The agreement is entered into at the Customer's and Seller's own expense and risk. It is specified that Gifty has no control over or respinsubility for quality, safety, legality or existence of goods/services supplied by the Seller, or the correctness of the information otherwise provided by the Seller.

Product information and duration
The gift card has a stated value that can be used at the Seller.
The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated).

All prices are in euros. Gift card are normally exempt from VAT

The goods are sent electronically from us vis e-mail/text message immediately afyer the agreement has been concluded
Payment and card information
We require payment for the item when the Customer buys the gift card form the Seller via our website.
When you shop at Gifty AS, the payment is processed by Nets, which is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. All card information is stoed in accordance with the card companies' regulations.
Personal information
Gifty AS process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Information that can be linked to you as a person will never be made available to anyone other than the Selle, nor will it be linked with other external registers.
Complaint
If there is a defect in the gift card, you must notify Gifty AS or the Seller in writing within a reasonable time after you discover the defect that you want to claim the defect. The tules on complaints can be found in the Consumer Purchase Act (Consumer Purchase Act).
If there is a defect in the product/service for which you have used the gift card, you must, within a reasonable time after you discover it, notify the Seller in writing that you want to claim the defect.
Right of withdrawal
According to the Right of Cancellation Act, the cancellation period applies from the day the buger received the item and 14 days thereafter. If you want to cancel the purchase, you return the item in the same condition as you received it and attach a completed right of cancellation form, you will then receive a refund of what you have paid. The buyer pays any return postage. See additional information on the right of withdrawal form. If the gift card has already been used, you cannot use the right of cancellation.

We will occasionally advertise with Google Ads or on social media. We do this to present a relevant offer through custom,ized advertising to users who have already been in contact with us. We also use the channels' statistics tool for usage patterns on the website.
